We had the pleasure of having an exclusive chat with our
exotic South Sudanese model, Adau Mornyang.
Mornyang was kind enough to share her inspirational
background and even had a few inexpensive tips for aspiring models.
Her career in modelling kicked off; when for the”fifth”
time she was encouraged to pursue modelling.
Her ‘nothing to lose’ mind set
fuelled her confidence to strut down the runway with incredible composure.
Mornyang was awestruck by her online shoot for Valentino in New
York, 2016, where she describes the production as “exhausting yet motivating”.
“Although I was
standing on an uneven platform for nearly three hours, it was truly an honour
to be part of a process that conveyed such a chic end product”.
The unconditional love she has for her family is what
ultimately drives her as a model.
“I want to make a
difference for my family and modelling is an opportunity that allows me to
improve my family’s lifestyle”.
As an inspirational figure in her community, Mornyang dedicates
her time by connecting with her young fans by offering guidance by giving
advice to them.
“Getting a no from clients” is one of the biggest challenges
Mornyang faces in the industry.
However, experience has taught her to have a neutral
attitude and appreciate the work she is offered.
